Support Riders With Disability
Volunteering with RDAQ is a chance to make a real difference in the lives of people living with disability, while gaining valuable skills and experiences yourself. You don’t need prior experience with horses—full training and support are provided to help you build confidence in working with riders and assisting with horse care.
Many volunteers discover pathways into careers in health, education, disability services and equestrian activities, with some choosing to become nationally accredited RDAA coaches. Opportunities extend well beyond the arena, with important roles in administration, centre maintenance, fundraising, promotion and more. If you’re looking for a rewarding way to contribute to your local community, we invite you to join the RDAQ community and become part of our supportive network.
