Welcome to Toowoomba RDA!

Toowoomba RDA provides horse riding lessons and equine-assisted programs that empower children and adults living with disability to gain confidence, mobility and joy through connection with horses. Located in Queensland’s Darling Downs region, our centre operates from the Toowoomba Showgrounds—a safe and well-equipped environment for riders of all abilities.

Accredited coaches and dedicated volunteers work together to deliver lessons that support physical development, emotional wellbeing and community inclusion. Each session is tailored to the individual rider’s goals, ensuring a positive and encouraging experience for every participant.

Volunteering, Sponsorships & Donations

Toowoomba RDA relies on community support to keep our programs thriving. Volunteers play an essential role—assisting with horse handling, rider support, maintenance and event coordination. No previous horse experience is needed, as all training is provided on-site.

We also welcome donations and sponsorships that help maintain our facilities, care for our horses and provide training for our accredited coaches. Every contribution—whether time, skills or financial support—directly benefits riders and families across the Darling Downs region.
