Welcome to Sapphire RDA!
Nestled in Queensland’s Central Highlands, Sapphire RDA provides a welcoming and down-to-earth space where people of all ages and abilities can experience the life-changing benefits of horse riding. Our riders come from across the region to build confidence, balance and independence through equine-assisted activities that are both rewarding and fun.
Every session is guided by accredited coaches and supported by caring volunteers who ensure each rider feels safe, supported and part of our community. Whether riders are working toward personal goals or simply enjoying the connection with our gentle horses, every moment in the saddle is celebrated.
On this page, you’ll find our current riding timetable, information on how to get started, ways to volunteer and who to contact for more details.

Volunteering, Sponsorships & Donations
Sapphire RDA thrives thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and supporters. Volunteers play a vital role in every aspect of what we do—from side-walking and horse leading to grounds care and fundraising. No previous experience with horses is required—just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help.
We also rely on donations and sponsorships to keep our programs running, maintain our horses and improve facilities. Every contribution directly supports people living with disability in our community and helps ensure our riders can continue to experience the freedom and joy that comes with being on horseback.
Sapphire RDA Sponsors
We extend heartfelt thanks to our generous sponsors and community partners whose ongoing support allows Sapphire RDA to provide safe, inclusive and meaningful programs for riders across the Central Highlands.
What Our Community is Saying
RDAQ Sapphire is more than a riding centre—it’s a community built on care, friendship and shared achievement. Hear from riders, families and volunteers about how our programs have helped them grow, connect and shine.
