Introducing Our Board Members
Our board members represent the breadth of RDAQ’s work—from coaching and horse welfare to governance, programs and community leadership. Together, they bring expertise and commitment to guide the future of RDAQ.
Robyn Mapp
Volunteers Representative
Robyn has been a dedicated volunteer and coach with RDA Hervey Bay for the past 10 years. Her involvement with Riding for the Disabled began much earlier, when around 25 years ago she used one of her ponies in Biloela to assist Blue Care in exploring the establishment of a centre there.
Horses have been a lifelong passion for Robyn. Her daughters were active members of Pony Club, and she herself enjoyed riding with Active Riders in Biloela, attending many clinics. She has explored Pirelli concepts, as well as undertaking weekly dressage lessons with Shelley Callaghan in Chinchilla—an experience she describes as a privilege.
Professionally, Robyn’s career has centred on supporting and coordinating volunteers in the fields of Conservation and Land Management. She has extensive experience as a workplace trainer, delivering programs to Certificate VI level for TAFE, Government, and private organisations.
