Welcome to Redcliffe RDA!

At Redcliffe RDA we help children and adults living with disability experience the freedom and confidence that come from horse riding. Based at the Redcliffe Showgrounds, our centre offers calm, well-structured sessions where riders build balance, coordination and independence alongside our gentle horses.

Our accredited coaches tailor activities to individual goals while trained volunteers provide steady support in the saddle and on the ground. Whether you’re aiming for therapeutic outcomes, skill development or simply time with a horse, there’s a place for you here.

Our Current Timetable

Redcliffe RDA operates Tuesday mornings during school terms. Sessions proceed weather-permitting and may pause on school holidays or when conditions are unsuitable. Riders are grouped by ability so each lesson is safe, encouraging and enjoyable.

Volunteering, Sponsorships & Donations

Volunteers keep Redcliffe RDA moving—leading horses, side-walking with riders, helping with grooming, arena setup, fundraising and general maintenance. No horse experience is required; training is provided and roles are matched to your comfort and skills. Whether you can offer a couple of hours or a regular morning, your help makes a real difference.

If you’d like to support in other ways, donations and sponsorships help care for our horses, maintain equipment and facilities, and provide training for coaches and volunteers. You can sponsor a horse, contribute supplies or make a one-off gift—every contribution supports local riders.
