Welcome to Greenbank RDA!

At Greenbank RDA, people of all ages and abilities can experience the freedom, connection and confidence that horse riding brings.

Our centre provides a safe, supportive environment where riders develop strength, coordination and independence through equine-assisted activities guided by accredited coaches and passionate volunteers. Each program is tailored to the rider’s goals—whether it’s improving balance, enhancing mobility, or building self-esteem through new challenges.

On this page, you’ll find our current riding timetable, along with details on how to get started, how to get involved as a volunteer and who to contact for more information. Every session is an opportunity to learn, grow and enjoy the unique bond between horse and rider.

Volunteering, Sponsorships & Donations

Volunteers are the heart of Greenbank RDA—helping our riders, caring for our horses and keeping the centre running smoothly. Roles include horse leading, side-walking, tack and arena preparation, property maintenance, fundraising and administration. No previous horse experience is required; full training and ongoing support are provided to ensure every volunteer feels confident and valued.

Those wishing to contribute in other ways can become sponsors or donors. Financial support helps provide essential equipment, training, horse feed and facility maintenance, while donated items such as tack or gear are always appreciated. Whether you can offer time, resources or funding, your contribution directly supports riders living with disability and helps keep our programs thriving.

Greenbank RDA Sponsors

We gratefully acknowledge our local sponsors whose generosity allows us to continue delivering high-quality, life-changing programs. Their ongoing support enables more Queenslanders living with disability to enjoy the benefits of therapeutic and recreational riding.
