Ex-Tropical Cyclone Marcia Damage

Casualty of Cyclone Marcia. The Rockhampton RDA arena cover copped a direct hit as well as a few of our fences. 2015 riding season has been suspended until the existing broken arena can be removed. Insurance will only cover a small percentage of the replacement cost. We have 45 riders all with a variety of disabilities. Being unable to attend riding lessons affects there therapeutic needs and for most a place to gain socialising and friendships. Also this year we are looking to take another three athletes with Shelby, Michael and Sarah to the State Special Olympic Games, the loss of our Arena has put a stop to our athletes training. I will keep updating on RDA’S progress.
