Horse riding instruction works wonders for the riders in assisting them in reaching physical milestones of improved strength and balance, general mobility, postural correction and flexibility. At RDA Crowson Park we always encourage our riders to try their very best while offering them support to develop new skills. After consulting with the Rider/Parent or Carer we offer games and activities that are suitable to that rider. These may include activities that the rider struggles with in day to day life, for example: Reading letters, colours, counting. hand eye co-ordination or strengthening of muscle tone. But it also does so much more than that. It develops self-esteem, a feeling of worth and sense of personal achievement. It builds bridges in our community and develops social relationships and friendships.
