Through innovative, relevant horse related programmes

On going support is needed for

  • RDAQ Coaching Programme
    RDAQ Coaching Department consists of three State Coaches who are employed part time to support the 38 RDA Centres in Queensland by:

    • Training and assessing coaches through the National Coaching Accreditation Scheme
    • Assisting with programme development and rider profiles
    • Running training workshops, seminars, Coordinating competitions and events
    • Developing and presenting resource material used interstate and internationally
    • Assisting Centres to source suitable horses and equipment required to maintain a quality service.

    More qualified coaches are needed to expand and meet the demand for riding places.

    More qualified coaches is a positive step to increased programme delivery which = more places available for riders

  • Increased rider numbers and added programme delivery at Centres that have limited resources.
  • The waiting list can be addressed in a systematic way on a regular basis.
  • Special programmes can be offered to a new base of clients.
  • Short 5-10 week programmes can be offered.
  • Youth at risk programmes can be developed.
  • On going training of RDA horses that will address the horse turn over issue.
  • A full programme of 7 sessions a week.
  • Holiday programmes

  • Bequests
    By remembering RDAQ in your Will you are ensuring that our work with disabled riders of all ages will continue. Your bequest can either be directed to a specific programme that is dear to your heart or to the endowment fund.

    A bequest may take the form of:

    • A percentage of an Estate
    • Specific sum of money
    • Real estate
    • Stocks and shares
    • Works of art, furniture, jewellery etc.

    Many Australians die without leaving either a valid or current Will that fully reflects their wishes for the disposal of their Estate.

    We encourage you to plan ahead and make a Will that refects your wishes.
